The “Must-Make” 4-Ingredient Peach Dumplings
The 4 Ingredients You Need
- Canned Peaches: A standard can of sliced peaches in juice or light syrup.
- Crescent Roll Dough: One tube of refrigerated crescent roll dough.
- Butter: About 1/2 cup, melted.
- Cinnamon/Sugar Mixture: To sprinkle on top (this provides that signature caramel-like crust).
Instructions: How to Assemble
- Prep: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish (like the one shown in your photo).
- Drain & Roll: Drain the peaches well. Lay out the crescent triangles. Place one or two peach slices on the wide end of each triangle and roll them up toward the point.
- Arrange: Place the rolled dumplings in your baking dish, seam-side down, so they don’t unroll while baking.
- The Secret Sauce: Melt your butter and mix it with a generous amount of cinnamon and sugar. Pour this mixture evenly over the top of all the dumplings. (This is what makes them golden and caramelized!)
- Bake: Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbling.
