My Billionaire Ex-Husband Sat Beside Me on a Flight Just to Humiliate Me—Then Three Little Boys Ran Out of a Bentley Calling Me “Mom”.

“Yes, Daniel,” I said calmly, handing over my suitcase. “Thank you.”

The oldest boy tugged my sleeve. “Mom, is that the man from the airport?”

I crouched slightly. “Yes, sweetheart.”

“Is he your friend?” the middle one asked.

I hesitated.

Blake noticed.

“No,” the oldest said before I could answer.

His name was Noah. He was the most like Blake in looks, but not in temperament. Noah watched everything. Remembered everything. He knew when I was pretending to be fine.

Blake swallowed hard. “What are their names?”

I should have walked away.

Every instinct told me to.

Five years of silence had been built for a reason. Not out of cowardice, but survival. I had rebuilt my life piece by piece, alone, while Blake went on magazine covers and gave interviews about betrayal, ambition, and how personal pain had sharpened his focus.

He had told the world his wife left him.

He had never once asked why.

Now he stood before me, shattered by faces he recognized too late.

“Noah,” I said softly, touching the oldest boy’s shoulder. “Lucas. And Eli.”

The names seemed to strike him physically.

“Noah,” he whispered.

The oldest boy frowned. “How do you know my name?”

Blake opened his mouth.

Nothing came out.

I stood, placing myself between him and the boys.

“We need to go.”

“No.” Blake stepped forward. “No, Emma, you don’t get to walk away from this.”

A cold laugh escaped me before I could stop it.

“That is rich coming from you.”

His expression twisted. “Are they mine?”

The words landed between us like broken glass.

Passengers nearby slowed. A driver looked over. Daniel became very still beside the Bentley.

I lowered my voice. “Not here.”

“Are they mine?” Blake demanded again.

Noah’s little hand slipped into mine.

I looked down at him and forced my expression to soften. “Get in the car with your brothers, baby. I’ll be right there.”

“I don’t like him,” Noah whispered.

Blake heard it.

For the first time since I had known him, Blake Harrington looked wounded by a child.

Lucas and Eli climbed into the Bentley reluctantly. Noah went last, still watching Blake through the open door.

When Daniel shut it, the tinted glass separated my children from the past.

Only then did I face Blake fully.

“Yes,” I said. “They’re yours.”

He did not move.

A gust of wind pushed at my coat. Somewhere behind him, his security detail had begun to gather, uncertain whether to approach. Blake lifted one hand without looking, and they stopped.

His voice dropped to a whisper.

“You were pregnant.”

“Yes.”

“When?”

I stared at him.

“Do you really need me to explain the timeline?”

Pain flashed across his eyes, but I had no sympathy left to spend carelessly.

“I didn’t know,” he said.

“No. You didn’t.”

“Why didn’t you tell me?”

The question was so outrageous that for a moment I simply looked at him.
