👩‍🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prep and Preheat 🌡️📐

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray, or line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil if you prefer shaping your meatloaf freeform style!

Step 2: Whisk the Liquid Aromatics 🥚🥛

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the 2 beaten eggs, ½ cup of milk, 2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Whisk these ingredients together thoroughly before adding the meat. (This ensures all the seasonings are evenly distributed without overworking the beef later!)

Step 3: Mix and Shape Gently 🥩🌀

  1. Add the 2 lbs of ground beef and 1 cup of breadcrumbs directly into the bowl with the wet mixture.
  2. Using clean hands, gently mix the ingredients together just until everything is combined. Do not overmix! Overworking the meat will make your meatloaf dense and tough.
  3. Transfer the mixture into your loaf pan (or shape it into a neat log on your lined baking sheet), pressing down gently so it holds its shape.

Step 4: Mix the Sweet & Tangy Glaze 🍅✨

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the ¾ cup of ketchup, 2 tbsp of brown sugar, 1 tbsp of yellow mustard, and 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar until perfectly smooth.
  2. Spread half of this delicious glaze evenly over the top of the raw meatloaf. Reserve the remaining half for later!
