The Bottom Row: The Ultimate Test
- Left: This isn’t just one bird with a strange shadow—it is an affectionate pair of adult doves overlapping closely, with one nuzzling the back of the other’s neck.
- Middle: A single adult dove standing alone.
- Right: This is where things get crowded! You can clearly see a cluster of four adult doves gathered tightly together, but if you look right down at the bottom right corner of the cluster, there is one more tiny baby dove nestled between them.
- Row Tally: 8 doves total in this section (2 on the left, 1 in the middle, and 5 in the right cluster).
The Final Verdict: How Many Are There?
If you add up all the large adult birds and find the three cleverly camouflaged baby doves hiding in the details, the final official count comes to 16 doves in total.
If your first count was 9 or 10, your brain was simply focusing on the main shapes and ignoring the details—a completely normal shortcut our vision takes every day!
