“What is happening?”
Victor said nothing.
Naomi finally spoke.
“The board investigation found that your consulting entity received payments not properly approved under related-party transaction rules.”
Brielle’s face went pale.
“I did work.”
“Then that work will be documented.”
“It is.”
“Good.”
“The review will consider it.”
Brielle looked at Victor.
“You approved everything.”
Victor did not answer.
